A racy advertisement featuring former Miss Universe, Jennifer Hawkins, has been banned by Auckland Airport .

The Valentine's Day bra advertisement shows Hawkins in a red lace bra sucking the horn of a stuffed animal toy.

The headline asks: "horney?"

"The bottom line is the airport has a vast array of people of different nationalities, different ages, and our view was that it was just not in keeping with general airport image and brand," the airport's general manager retail Nick Forbes told NZPA.

The ad is for Loveable Bra's.
