Indian's express their outrageDamien Martyn was forced into a red-faced apology last night as Australia frantically tried to salvage its relationship with India after the Champions Trophy presentation debacle.
Martyn has been at the centre of a hostile attack after he grabbed Board of Control for Cricket in India president Sharad Pawar and nudged him off stage during the trophy presentation after Australia's final win against West Indies on Sunday.
Australia captain Ricky Ponting was also seen tapping Pawar on the shoulder as a gesture to leave the stage, a move that has drawn stinging criticism from India's Test stars and an angry Indian media.
