Allin the same day credit: ninemsnHeavy snow fell in Victoria and NSW, as fires raged in a day of bizarre weather patterns which saw Hobart record its coldest November in almost twenty years. Snow fell in the Victorian and NSW Alps, with reports of falls in the suburbs of Canberra and west of the Blue Mountains near Oberon.
At the same time large fires burned in the Blue Mountains, fuelled by the extremely dry drought conditions.
