A total of 120 people have been arrested across NSW over a scam in which false names were given to police for driving and parking offences.
Strike Force Kindilan was established in September after an audit by the State Debt Recovery Office identified 238 people as having allegedly given falde names on statutory declarations to evade fines for traffic and parking offences.
A weekend operation led to the arrests of 120 people and 76 of them had been charged with a total of 150 offences, police said today.
They were all bailed to appear in court at a later date.
Polce would allege they gave false statutory declarations blaming one of two people - one who was dead and the other a resident of another state - for their speeding and traffic offences.
